Terms and Conditions

The Australian Consumer Law provides certain guarantees to consumers when they purchase goods and these guarantees cannot be excluded, restricted or modified.

World Trading Alliance’s Pty Ltd T/A The Bathroom Outlet honors these aforementioned guarantees in line with our own policies. 

Placing an Order:

  1. All orders placed with The Bathroom Outlet that are not collected at the time of purchase require a 50% deposit to reserve stock and pricing as discussed with your salesperson.
  2. Stock from orders held with a 50% deposit will be held for a 14-day period unless prior discussed and arranged with your salesperson and confirmed in writing on the invoice. If the customer has not made contact with The Bathroom Outlet after this 14-day period and all attempts to make contact by The Bathroom Outlet have failed, any stock held is released and may be subject to resale. 
  3. Website orders must be paid in full at the time of purchase. Stock will be confirmed with an in-store salesperson via email or phone call before arranging delivery/collection. Unavailable stock will be substituted or refunded accordingly in writing. 

Delivery of Goods:

  1. Delivery of Goods is deemed to occur when they are handed to the customer, their representative or are delivered to the customers elected property/location. The Goods shall thereafter be at the customer’s risk.
  2. The Goods shall be deemed to have been received in good order and condition to the extent permitted by law upon signing the delivery docket by the customer or their representative
  3. Goods that require delivery to a premise without an appropriate representative to sign must notify The Bathroom Outlet prior. In which instance, The Bathroom Outlet will deem delivery as they see fit with photo evidence in place of a signature. The Goods shall thereafter be at the customer’s risk. 
  4. Unless otherwise discussed and arranged with your salesperson/s, all deliveries are considered Standard.
  5. Standard delivery includes a single delivery person organized by The Bathroom Outlet to the ground floor only with an able-bodied person organized by the customer on site to accept and assist with unloading of large order items. 
  6. Deliveries outside these outlined conditions must be discussed and confirmed with your salesperson/s. Additional charges may apply as deemed appropriate by The Bathroom Outlet. 
  7. Delivery Periods will be confirmed by The Bathroom Outlet via phone or email to the customer one day before the scheduled delivery date. The Delivery Period will be a window of 1-2 hours in which The Bathroom Outlet will make all efforts to meet, however, the Delivery Period may change on short notice due to extenuating circumstances.
  8. The pricing for standard delivery is $150 within 30kms from Osborne Park.
  9. It is the customers responsibility to provide The Bathroom Outlet with the correct delivery address and any relevant access information at the time of purchase. The customer will be responsible for any costs that arise due to incorrect delivery or access details provided. 
  10. Once delivery is completed, the Delivery Fee outlined on the invoice is not subject for refund.

Shortages, Damage or Faults of Goods:

  1. The Customer must notify The Bathroom Outlet of any shortages of orders within a reasonable timeframe as deemed appropriate by The Bathroom Outlet on a case-by-case basis for redelivery.
  2. The Customer must notify The Bathroom Outlet of any damaged or faulty goods within a reasonable timeframe as deemed appropriate by The Bathroom Outlet on a case-by-case basis for replacement or resolution.
  3. The Bathroom Outlet refuses any responsibility for any shortage, damage or faults with goods reported outside the reasonable timeframe.
  4.  The Bathroom Outlet deems a reasonable timeframe to be 7 days from collection/delivery unless otherwise discussed with your salesperson and confirmed in writing on the invoice.
  5.  The customer is responsible for ensuring that goods are free from damage or noticeable defects before installation and alert The Bathroom Outlet immediately.
  6.  The Bathroom Outlet considers any damage or defects reported after installation to be incurred in the installation process and refuses responsibility for replacement or resolution for said products. 
  7. All products purchased from The Bathroom Outlet are required to be installed by the appropriated qualified and licensed tradesperson/s. The Bathroom Outlet refuses responsibility and warranty periods for any Goods installed outside of these conditions. Proof of service may be requested by The Bathroom Outlet.

Quotes:

  1. All quotations for the supply of goods and services are subject to The Bathroom Outlets Terms & Conditions.
  2. Quotes from The Bathroom Outlet are valid for a period of 30 days unless otherwise discussed with your salesperson and confirmed in wiring on the quote.

Returns:

  1. The Bathroom Outlet offers customers a 14-day change of mind return period after the dispatch/delivery date for a full refund or store credit on items in resalable condition 
  2. The customer must provide original proof of purchase in the form of an invoice 
  3. Resalable condition is considered to be in completely unopened and intact packaging 
  4. Goods returned with damaged packaging are not considered to be in resalable condition, thus, full refund or store credit will be refused
  5. A 15% re-stocking fee may apply to goods returned as The Bathroom Outlet sees fit to cover any labour costs associated with returns
  6. Clearance, floor stock, ex-display, special order and discontinued products are considered final purchase, and no change of mind or refund policy apply to the sale of these aforementioned goods. 

Faulty Goods:

  1. The Bathroom Outlet offers a replacement, store credit or refund on any goods with major faults as outlined by the Australian Consumer Law 
  2. Goods with minor faults will be offered an appropriate solution in the form of either replacement, store credit, repair, refund or partial refund at The Bathroom Outlets discretion on a case-by-case basis in line with the Australian Consumer Law 
  3. All other terms and conditions apply
